On April 13th, 2020, HGTV kicked off its newest blockbuster series, Celebrity IOU, with a stunning home renovation featuring our very own SapienStone porcelain countertops!
This new, hit series follows TV personalities, Drew and Johnathan Scott, from Property Brothers as they join forces with some of Hollywood’s hottest stars to provide a surprise home renovation project for those who have made a major impact in their lives.
Episode 1 kicks off the season with Brad Pitt who recruits the two brothers to create a stunning remodel for Pitt’s makeup artist and beloved friend of 30 years. Together, they completely transform her detached garage into a dreamy guest house, complete with sleek designs, modern touches, and our favorite…SapienStone Calacatta Statuario porcelain countertops.
The kitchen absolutely glistened and gleamed with these upgraded surfaces. They were the perfect choice for this small space, as it not only brought immediate character into the room, but provided plentiful benefits with its strong durability, easy clean-up and low maintenance characteristics.
The look of our lavish SapienStone porcelain countertops continued into the bathroom to bring a cohesive look to the entire space. The bright white hues and light grey veining added beautiful character to this simple area and really tied together the full spectrum of the chic, modern home design.
In addition to the kitchen, this renovated garage featured incredibly innovative technology including a murphy bed and hidden mirror. Every nook and cranny in this space was carefully thought out and designed to provide Pitt’s friend a peaceful place to relax.
