Sapienstone won two awards at the second edition of the Top of Design, the recognition promoted by Marie Claire Maison—one of the most authoritative French magazines in furniture and interior design—in collaboration with Consumer Guidance France, dedicated to the most innovative and relevant creations in the world of contemporary design.

The awards were given to two standout brand achievements: the Dress Code collection by Jaime Beriestain and the 4D Ceramic Surfaces, a technology developed by Iris Ceramica Group and expressed through Sapienstone surfaces.

Dress Code by Jaime Beriestain was born from the fusion of design, haute couture, and ceramics. Awarded in the Wall & Floor Surface Covering category, this project bears the signature of Jaime Beriestain, who transformed ceramics into a blend of rich textures, varied formats, and a sophisticated color palette capable of dressing any space with character and refinement. Technical ceramic surfaces take center stage across four design spaces

Sapienstone renews its presence at Casa Decor 2026, confirming a well-established collaboration with the Madrid-based design event, which over the years has seen the Iris Ceramica Group brand partner with some of the most influential designers on the Spanish scene, integrating its surfaces into highly creative projects.

A partner of the exhibition for several editions, Sapienstone views it as a privileged observatory of the evolution of contemporary interior design, as well as an ideal context to express the versatility of ceramics in kitchen, hospitality, and bespoke furniture applications.

For the 2026 edition, Sapienstone surfaces are featured in four spaces along the exhibition route, with a focus on dining and hospitality, domestic kitchens, and conceptual installations—demonstrating how ceramics can move seamlessly across very different languages and usage contexts.

The restaurant “The Silent Chapel,” a space designed by interior designer Raúl Martins for Iris Ceramica Group, has been set up in the former deconsecrated chapel of the 19th-century palace hosting the event in the heart of the Barrio de las Letras. A highly evocative setting where the dialogue between architectural memory and contemporary language finds balance through materials that integrate naturally within the layered space. Here, Sapienstone signs some of the key elements of the reception area: the bar counter is made of Jatoba Brown 4D Lapped in a 20 mm thickness, a surface with a deep, tactile character that interacts with bespoke woodwork; the kitchen, meanwhile, is enhanced by Calacatta Aureo 4D, Cashmere finish in 12 mm, chosen for its luminous elegance and its ability to reinterpret marble aesthetics in a contemporary key.

In the space “Orbit and Matter” by ITA – Italian Trade Agency, designed by Rebuelta Domecq studio, night becomes the project’s generative theme—not as an absence of light, but as a moment of suspension, intimacy, and heightened perception of matter. Sapienstone is present with a selection of surfaces that build a sophisticated and coherent palette: Fior di Viola 4D in 12 mm clads the bedside tables, while the same surface in 8 mm is used for the flooring, ensuring stylistic continuity.

In the kitchen “Architecture of Flavor,” designed by Mar Gausachs for the Bauhaus space, Fior di Viola 4D in a Cashmere finish (12 mm) covers the countertop, while the sink is made of Marsala Red Natural in 12 mm: a combination that plays on the chromatic tension between the burgundy tones of Fior di Viola and the earthier shade of Marsala, transforming the kitchen from a functional space into a true architectural feature of the home.

In the conceptual space “The Value of the Invisible,” designed by Cano y Escario Arquitectura for Mapei, Sapienstone supports an installation that explores the value of matter and the process that transforms it into architecture. Breccia Imperiale Natural in 12 mm forms the tabletop, while in 6 mm it covers the walls, creating a material continuity between horizontal and vertical surfaces.

With this articulated presence throughout the exhibition path, Sapienstone constructs a narrative in which material, function, and atmosphere coexist in balance—demonstrating the role of ceramics as a material capable of spanning very different uses and design sensibilities.

Edition after edition, Casa Decor confirms itself as the ideal context in which to test this versatility, alongside some of the most representative names in contemporary Spanish design. Distributed in Spain by Cupa Stone, Sapienstone reaffirms its commitment to collaborating with designers and interior design studios in developing bespoke solutions where aesthetics and performance support each other.

In “Candy & Moka” and in the “Nexo” space, tradition and ceramic innovation coexist: terracotta claddings and large porcelain stoneware slabs define the design projects.

Iris Ceramica Group took part in the latest edition of Marbella Design & Art, one of the most interesting international events in the fields of architecture and interior design, now in its eighth edition. Each year, the exhibition brings together interior designers, artists, and international brands in a sequence of immersive environments reflecting the most current directions of contemporary design. Hosted at the Palacio de Ferias, Exposiciones y Congresos Adolfo Suárez, it helps strengthen Marbella’s role as a platform for dialogue between design culture, material research, and contemporary languages, at a time of year when the city once again becomes a meeting point for the European creative scene. Within the exhibition route, the ceramic surfaces by Iris Ceramica Group, used in two areas, engage with different design visions, defining spaces through a creatively inspired material narrative.

Among these is the Candy & Moka space, designed by Welcome Design and led by Mar Vera, conceived as a manifesto on color and materiality, built around a reflection on the evolution of relational spaces and new ways of inhabiting design. The chromatic duality between exterior and interior forms the project’s axis: outside, characterized by cool tones, the wall made with large slabs in Onice Rosa by FMG enhances graphic depth and highlights the translucency of the surface, creating a scenic presence that defines the identity of the space from the entrance. Connecting the two atmospheres is the counter in Calacatta Aureo 4D by Sapienstone, an expression of Iris Ceramica Group’s technological research through the material continuity of veining across the entire thickness of the slab.

Inside, the atmosphere shifts to a warmer palette enriched by metallic reflections and calibrated lighting that creates an intimate and relational environment. The flooring in Terrapura by FMG—surfaces with deeply intense tones created through Full Body3 technology—introduces a balanced chromatic base that accompanies spatial perception with a natural and measured presence. The fireplace wall finds its expressive accent in the base in Bottega d’Arte Rosso—Dedica 10x10cm edition—by Iris Ceramica, an element that establishes a visual relationship with the central seating and reinforces the dialogue between material, color, and furnishings.

Also within the exhibition route, in the Nexo space designed by Silvia Trigueros, a composition of books and candelabras creates an intimate atmosphere around a round table with a top in Taj Mahal Cashmere by Sapienstone. The warm and natural tones of the surface, crossed by fluid and irregular veining, introduce a luminous and refined presence that interacts with the contemplative dimension of the project.

Sapienstone participated in the Kitchen & Bath Industry Show (KBIS) 2026, the leading North American trade fair dedicated to kitchen and bath design, held from February 17–19, 2026 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida. Exhibiting in synergy with Stonepeak — a brand of Iris Ceramica Group — Sapienstone offered visitors an immersive experience into the world of high-end porcelain stoneware.

The booth stood out for its strong aesthetic identity: a refined environment dominated by deep burgundy tones that enhanced the displayed materials. At center stage, a striking kitchen island clad in Fior di Viola 4D — renowned for its natural textures and dramatic veining — interacted with the geometric Ombra di Luce flooring composed of Blu Belge, Grigio Savelli and Crema Neve, creating a visually impactful composition. Completing the space was the display of Sapienstone slab collections featuring applied 4D technology and three-dimensional surface panels showcased through processing techniques that emphasized the quality of slabs with 4D technology.

At KBIS 2026, Sapienstone presented a curated selection of slabs featuring Iris Ceramica Group’s 4D Ceramics technology alongside the Dress Code collection, designed by internationally renowned designer Jaime Beriestain. Two elements closely aligned with Sapienstone’s philosophy: exploring the expressive potential of porcelain stoneware, where texture, depth and design merge to create surfaces that are, in every sense, a statement of style.

KBIS 2026 also marked an important recognition for Sapienstone: the product Kuroca 4D received the Best Product Award presented by BIMsmith — a leading platform for the architecture and design industry.
