SapienStone, a brand of Iris Ceramica Group, had a fruitful experience at Cersaie 2024, with a considerable number of visitors attending the various events held at the company’s new showroom. In addition, cutting-edge ceramic technologies were showcased at the fair, presented in a booth that was designed to represent a harmonious “symphony” of technological solutions applied to ceramics.
Visitors were able to explore an exhibition space inspired by the Art Deco style that had been transformed into an elegant foyer, recreating one of the iconic places where society traditionally gathered before and after a show. Participants were then also able to access several “stages” where each of the innovations was showcased to provide an engaging experience. The central area of this space was furnished with seating and tables with SapienStone surfaces, which are equipped with a concealed technological system that can be used to charge smartphones.
At the same time, SapienStone invited industry professionals to its showroom in Castellarano where they had the opportunity to see the new materials on display, appreciate the quality of the ceramic surfaces and learn more about the latest design innovations.
The new products were exhibited in an installation that offered a sensory experience in which natural materials were the focal point, with the aim of transforming the traditional concept of surface. The combination of materials and light accentuates the veins, thereby imparting a tangible sense of depth and character. The textures not only add to the aesthetic appeal, but also create an interplay of light and shadow, for a mesmerizing visual and tactile effect. Each material is presented as a work of art, encouraging visitors to take a closer look and even touch it, capturing their attention and creating a sense of depth and dynamic movement. The chosen approach for the installation places emphasis on the connection between nature and architecture: three-dimensional finishes not only decorate but also enhance spaces, resulting in a more sophisticated look and increased sensory stimulation.
Silver Wave 4D is one of the new products, featuring the groundbreaking 4D Ceramic technology developed by Iris Ceramica Group, the evolution of a full-body technology in which each surface is designed to be a masterpiece of ceramic engineering. The veins and nuances that run uniformly throughout the thickness of the material bring out its natural beauty, almost blurring the boundary between a surface and its edge. This ensures an exceptional visual continuity that maximizes the aesthetic potential of ceramics, making it the ideal choice for sophisticated and original interior design projects.
Silver Wave 4D is available in a lapped finish that enhances the beauty of granite and feels smooth to the touch. The contrasting visual and tactile sensations create a truly amazing effect.
Crema Avorio and Breccia Imperiale, on the other hand, are available in a natural finish that highlights the structure and veining, adding visual depth and a pleasant feel. The warm, velvety hues of Crema Avorio brighten up spaces with a subtle elegance, while Breccia Imperiale, with its rich brown color and sinuous veins, adds warmth and character to any space.
The slabs are 12 mm thick, making them ideal for use as kitchen countertops and work surfaces. SapienStone has proven that by combining these finishes, ceramics can offer more than just functionality, thereby transforming any environment into a unique and state-of-the-art space.
The comprehensive display of the SapienStone product range, including the installation of this year’s three new products, demonstrated the successful integration of aesthetic appeal, functionality and versatility, offering innovative solutions to meet the demands of contemporary design projects.
